MEAD Manufacturing Workshop

The manufacture of mead is obtained from the fermentation of honey in a large amount of water, with natural yeasts (or added) and those looking for some creativity in flavors, adding spices such as fruits, herbs or other plants.
It is known for his witty and liqueur flavor and for being one of the oldest drinks of mankind. Some people still give many health benefits for their consumption (moderate), especially when it is prepared in the traditional manner and with natural ingredients.
In this workshop we will learn how to make the mead home form and its variants creative with spices and flavors. Participants are able to produce mead for themselves.

All who want to learn in practice to make mead at home, out of curiosity or introductory as well as to all who want to develop and deepen mead production of knowledge in a traditional and artisanal scale creating a value-added product. It is not necessary previous experience.
The objective of establishing the Meads Runes came from a personal project started at the end of 2012, by calling initially "Kvasir" Norse god; this project that began because of the taste and will rediscover a past of all the. The production was originally intended for consumption within the family and close friends but given the wide approval and responsiveness Mead Runas was decided to share the opportunity to enjoy and (re)find out everyone else this remarkable drink. so leaving for a collective project, keeping in view the objective of maintaining a connection, close and personal with all lovers, thus, preferred to select a team of close collaborators. Thus the production of product and a reduced scale in order to maintain the great historical load and this mythical drink.
